An employer is liable for acts done by
employees during their time at work.
This applies to all forms of
discrimination. However, an employer can
use the defence that they have done
everything that they reasonably could to
prevent it from happening.
An employer can be liable for acts
committed by the employee where the
employee has carried out their job in a
particular way.
But, also for acts that have nothing to
do with the employee’s job, but were
committed during work time.
